Is your Squarespace to WordPress migration taking place on a staging environment, away from customers? Check that your new staging site looks and works correctly before going live.
Check that all pages, posts and downloadable content has been correctly migrated from Squarespace to WordPress.
Does your WordPress site have the same design and functionality? Check that all functionality works correctly including your forms, navigation, and any interactive elements.
Is your newly migrated site fully mobile responsive? If it wasn’t before, should it be now?
Use view page source by right clicking with your mouse on a page or post to check that the meta data from your Squarespace website is correctly ported to your WordPress website.
Ensure that you are using the correct domain prefix, if you are using www on your old website, you need to use www on your new website. Set up 301 redirects for any changed URLs.
Check that any scripts used for marketing, analytics or embedding third party services have been correctly ported from your Squarespace website to your new WordPress website.
