How Does Our Sitecore To WordPress
Migration Service Work?
To migrate your Sitecore website to WordPress, we’ll need to export all of your content from Sitecore, import it into WordPress and then replicate the design and functionality of your old site, making sure your site structure remains the same in the process.
Rebuilding Your Sitecore Website In WordPress
As Sitecore is a different CMS to WordPress, it's necessary to rebuild your website in WordPress. This involves replicating the existing design and functionality using WordPress. This will take place on a private development environment, where you can track the progress, and provide feedback at the end if necessary.
Content Mapping
The most difficult part of the Sitecore to WordPress migration process, is mapping the content from your Sitecore site to the right places in WordPress. Not only does the site structure have to remain the same, in terms of URLs and links, but all of the content, imagery and other assets has to be mapped to the right place on WordPress. This is a problem automated tools cannot fully overcome.
Testing & Going Live
Once your website is complete and rebuilt within WordPress, it's time for testing. This means making sure everything looks and functions as it should, and that all your content and assets are in the right places (including internal links). When this is complete, we'll help you push your new website live seamlessly, so there's no disruption for your website visitors. After your new site is live, we can provide you with ongoing WordPress support.
