Kickstart Content Marketer
We are hiring a Content Marketer as part of the government funded Kickstart Scheme.
This is a 100% remote role. You will be working with us through Zoom, Slack and our project management tool ActiveCollab. There is no physical attendance required, so we are open to applicants from across the UK regardless of location.

Who We're Looking For
We are ideally looking for someone with a Creative Writing or Arts background, or equivalent from college/BTECs.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided, but we do need someone with the right background who can learn and pick up the below at a good pace. If you do have any experience with the below that is a big plus!
What You'll Learn
We have a structured training programme to teach you everything you need to know to be a successful content marketer. You will progress through industry accredited training courses as well as work on new pieces of content day in day out. Throughout the process you’ll have access to and learn:
What's Expected Of You
Your primary responsibility will be creating and optimising WordPress related content for our website and social media channels.
The content you work on will be varied in format and cover a wide range of topics, plugins and tools for WordPress.
We are looking for someone who can hit deadlines and is able to edit and proof their own work thoroughly. In return, you will learn the Content Marketing process from start to finish. You’ll also get the opportunity to build a strong portfolio of work published across our website, and potentially across larger industry resources in the digital marketing and WordPress space.
This role is for 25 hours per week at the national minimum wage through the government Kickstart Scheme.
The contracted hours are Monday to Friday – 9.30am to 2pm
About Square Internet
Square Internet is a small WordPress agency based in Norwich, Norfolk.
Home of Alan Partridge and Radio Norfolk, Norwich is a quiet little city on the East coast of the country (people rarely know where we are). It’s full of small independent shops, and for some reason pink footed geese (who we love), who can be found frequenting the various riverside hotspots throughout the city. Seriously, here’s one of our friends below!
However you don’t have to live here to work with us as this role is remote, though are you missing out on the cool geese.

We’re looking for someone who is a clear communicator, independent and able to figure things out for themselves. We’re a small business, so it’s important you can use your initiative and some Googling where necessary.
And also think work life balance is important. We should enjoy our work and take fulfilment from being good at what we do, but enjoy life to the fullest alongside that. We don’t work with clients who don’t share that philosophy, and we don’t expect our team members to live and breathe for their jobs.
