Is your Joomla to WordPress migration taking place on a staging environment, away from customers, where it can be tested thoroughly first? Never just click “migrate” onto your live domain or you could risk damaging your website if it doesn’t work correctly

Does your WordPress site have the same design and functionality? Check that all functionality works as it should, it could be different on WordPress
Is your newly migrated site fully mobile responsive? If it wasn’t before, should it be now?
Use view page source by right clicking with your mouse on a page or post to check that the meta data is correct and matches your old site
Ensure that you are using the correct domain prefix, if you are using www on your old website, your new site on WordPress should do the same
Check that any scripts used for marketing, analytics or embedding third party services have been placed in the correct place on your new WordPress website, or these services may break
