Is your Ghost to WordPress migration running on a separate staging environment? Your publication should stay live and accessible to readers throughout. Never migrate directly to your live domain before the new site has been fully tested.
Have all Ghost posts, pages and tags been imported correctly, with the right slugs, featured images and author attribution in place?
Does your WordPress site have the same design and functionality? Check that all functionality works as it should, it could be different on WordPress
Is your newly migrated site fully mobile responsive? If it wasn’t before, should it be now?
Use view page source by right clicking with your mouse on a page or post to check that the meta data is correct and matches your old site
Ensure that you are using the correct domain prefix, if you are using www on your old website, your new site on WordPress should do the same
Check that any scripts used for marketing, analytics or embedding third party services have been placed in the correct place on your new WordPress website, or these services may break

We write a bespoke script that maps your Ghost posts and content types to the correct fields in WordPress, so pages, posts, images and meta data all land in the right place. Your new site is then built on top.
